Senior faculty advisor/Consultant for the Greater Los Angeles Lactation Center- (Charles Drew Research Committee grant and also a $20,000 grant from the California Endowment Fund). This faculty assisted with the grant submission process, in addition to budget and work plan outcomes for both the Mini-mission maker grant of Charles R. Drew and the California Endowment.

Faculty advisor for mini-mission maker grant (Charles R. Drew Research Committee grant) - Benign Febrile Seizures. Overall student support 5% faculty advisor to $2,000 Mini Mission Maker Grant through CDU- Febrile Seizures- assisted with grant submission process, in addition to budget and work plan outcomes. 

Main Faculty advisor & consultant- First Annual ELM Research Conference; Topic: Trends in Pediatric Disparities Research held at the California Endowment offices at 1000 N. Alameda St., Los Angeles, CA on August 2, 2013.
