THRUSTS/PRIORITY AREAS FOR RESEARCH AND RESEARCH TRAINING

The Faculty of Engineering prides itself on the fact that its faculty members are outstanding researchers. Over the course of many years, successful research programs have arisen through the combined efforts of researchers who have collaborated in areas that relate closely to the strategic themes that are identified below. These strategic areas include large groups of researchers who interact at various levels and share interests in techniques and applications over focused thematic research areas that span departmental and University disciplines.

The five strategic areas identified below define the current research direction for the Faculty.
