Dr. John M. Bowman Memorial Winnipeg Rh Institute Foundation Award

Purpose and nature of award
The Dr. John M. Bowman Memorial Winnipeg Rh Institute Foundation Award was established in 1997 and renamed in Dr. Bowman’s memory in 2005, recognizes outstanding research accomplishments by a non-retired, established university faculty member.

The award consists of a research grant in the amount of $25,000, which must be utilized within three years and is non-transferrable, and a medal. An annual special event is held to present the award, followed by a lecture to be delivered by the award recipient and a reception.

Selection Criteria & Procedures

Deadline for the receipt of nominations by deans/directors is May 31.

Submission Format:
One paper copy and one electronic copy in a single PDF document (with the contents of the dossier arranged in the order indicated previously) should be forwarded to the Office of the Vice-President (Research and International), attention: Gail Cornock, gail.cornock@umanitoba.ca
