My current research interests include mercury cycling, with an emphasis on toxic methylmercury. As part of the BaySys project, I aim to examine the current state of mercury in many of the rivers leading up to the Hudson Bay and some of the key estuarine environments. One of our over-arching goals is to separate the effects of climate change and hydroelectric dams on the transportation and transformation of mercury.
