Interesting Courses and Unique Opportunities

To increase interprofessional exposure and enrich student-learning experiences, the program will facilitate a collaborative learning exchange in the four midwifery clinical courses with the McMaster University Midwifery Education Program. This learning exchange will entail combining tutorial groups so UM faculty will have students from the McMaster program, allowing students to draw from the learning experiences of others in a larger cohort.

Professional Opportunities

The Bachelor of Midwifery Program provides the educational foundation for a career in midwifery. Graduates of the program will be eligible to apply for registration with the College of Midwives of Manitoba and to write the Canadian Midwifery Registration Exam.
