The 2011 CI/CS Spring Technical Meeting is an opportunity to meet academic and industrial combustion experts from across Canada as well as international researchers in combustion. Technical papers are solicited on all aspects of combustion, particularly those related to the following topics:

    Please e-mail a one-page abstract of your paper (preferably in PDF format) to cics2011@cc.umanitoba.ca When submitting your abstract, please specify the authors contact information (name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail address) and the most appropriate topic area from the above list. Acceptance of the abstract is based on review by the Program Committee. Once accepted, you will be invited to submit a final paper (4 to 6 pages) for your presentation to be made at the meeting. The presentation must be made by one of the authors. Electronic submission of the final papers (in Adobe PDF Format) is required.     Student Honoraria

    To encourage the participation of students, the Canadian Section of the Combustion Institute offers an honorarium to students who present papers.

    Deadlines

    • One-page abstract received by: Thursday, 17 February 2011
    • Notification of acceptance emailed by: Monday, 28 February 2011The week of February 28
    • Final paper (4-6 pages) received by: Friday, 1 April 2011
