Apple TV Replacement Project
Information Services and Technology (IST) will replace the Apple TV devices available for content presentation in classrooms and meeting rooms on Bannatyne and Fort Garry campuses with ShareLink Pro devices from May to July 2024.
Benefits
ShareLink Pro provides a more user-friendly, intuitive experience and works with a broader range of devices and platforms (macOS, Windows, iOS and Android).
Project schedule
The project team will start replacing Apple TV devices on the Bannatyne campus this month (May) and plans to replace the devices on the Fort Garry campus in June-July.

FAQs Frequently asked questions
Can I download the app from Google Play or (iPhone equivalent) to my smart phone?
Yes. Search the Google Play or Apple App Store for "ShareLink Pro," created by Extron Electronics.
Will “how to” instructions be available?
Yes. Instructions will be available in both online and hardcopy formats.
Are all rooms with displays being upgraded to use ShareLink?
No, only those that appear above. ShareLink devices will be installed in new or redeveloped rooms requiring wireless presentation capability.
Do I have to use ShareLink in order to use a room’s display?
No. The wired connections (e.g., HDMI cable) will still be available.
