All applications for admission must be submitted directly to the Faculty of Graduate Studies at:

Online Application Option -
Applicants may submit the Faculty of Graduate Studies application form and application fee online.  The online application system can accept Visa and Mastercard for the application fee payment.  If you wish to submit your application form and fee online, please visit:

Please note:  If you complete the Faculty of Graduate Studies application form and pay the application fee online, the remainder of the required documents on the checklist must be submitted in hardcopy to the Faculty of Graduate Studies (address above.)  If you submit your application online, you do not need to submit the Faculty of Graduate Studies application form in hard copy.  The rest of your application documents will be matched up with your online application form and fee when they are received by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.  Incomplete applications that are missing documents will not be considered for admission until all the items are received. 

Application Fees:  $100 CDN for all applicants

Please note that the application fee can be paid via the following methods: Visa and Mastercard (via the online application system,) money order, bank draft, or cheque. In order for the University of Manitoba to process a money order, bank draft, or cheque, the following must be included on the payment document:

  1. The Money order, bank draft or cheque must be MICR encoded with the cheque number, transit number (usually 8 digits) and account number. MICR encoding is the preprinted numbers on the bottom left hand side of the money order, bank draft, or cheque draft.
  2. If the fee is not MICR encoded, the transit number and the account number must be provided on the payment by the bank.

If the fee payment is not acceptable, it will be returned to the applicant. Applications will not be processed until an acceptable fee payment is received.
