Mini U Ice Camps

Full equipment is required and is not supplied by the university. Players may be asked by our experienced coaching staff to switch programs in order to place them in the most appropriate group (based on skill levels). All programs include swimming unless otherwise noted.

Children must be the minimum age for the camps by December 31, 2013.

Our Practice Plan

Coaching

On ice, groups will be challenged by our most experienced hockey coaches who will lead them through a week of skill building style practice plans. Players will cycle through a series of stations and will also apply these newly honed skills to different types of game situations. Players will be split into groups within each program based on age and skill and ability.

Off-Ice Instruction

Groups will be led by experienced hockey players who will run them through different off-ice hockey activities, including dry land training, which will focus on agility training, conditioning, game situation practice, hockey talk and some nutritional sessions. Other recreational activities will be incorporated into the program plan designed to match the age and skill level of each group, which will develop teamwork and fair play.
