Bachelor of Human Ecology (Family Social Sciences), University of Manitoba; Dean’s Honour List every year of University; Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C; National Coaching Certification; Mini U Specific Learning Outcomes Award 2012

Experience with Children:
From babysitting and helping with Sunday school, to volunteering with her figure skating club and becoming certified as a Skate Canada coach, working with children is something that Chelsey has always done. She coached figure skating for 4 years, and continues to work with children to this day by volunteering in the nursery at her church, and teaching skating.

In 2010, Chelsey began working for Mini U as a classroom leader, and fell in love with the Mini U Programs! She taught various craft camps for three summers, and led school groups in the fall and winter; she continues to work with Mini U in the fall and winter by teaching the Learn to Skate program.

In 2012, Chelsey began working as a Customer Service Representative for Recreation Services. With this, her association with Mini U changed, as she became involved with the administrative and customer service processes.

Years with Mini U Programs: Began as a leader in 2010.

Favorite Camp Activities: Crafts, Rubber Chicken, and skating

Favorite Sports / Activities: Figure skating, biking

Favorite Mini U Moment: Receiving artwork from the children and hearing their explanations of it.
