This session will help you break outside the box and will explore less popular, but more powerful job search strategies including information interviews, networking, social proof, and value projects.
Creating online portfolios

In today's crowded and competitive job market, it can be challenging to get employers' attention and communicate the value you have to offer through just a resume and cover letter. Having an online portfolio that corroborates and supplements the messages in your application is an excellent way to stand out and help land your next role. In this session, participants will learn: What an online portfolio is and why you should create one; components of an online portfolio; how to create an online portfolio and how to use/share your online portfolio.
