Fill out the 2025 Campus Commute Survey between October 14 and 27, 2025 for a chance to win a $500 grocery gift certificate or one of ten $50 gift vouchers to Degrees, Campo or Starbucks.
In 2023, the Office of Sustainability asked students, staff and faculty how you travelled to UM campuses and what factors influenced your commuting choices. We received over 5,900 responses, and your feedback from the 2023 survey continues to assist us in planning transportation initiatives on campus.
The Office of Sustainability now invites you to participate in the 2025 Campus Commute Survey and share your transportation goals and perspectives. Individual transportation decisions are complex and influenced by many factors, both personal and structural. Renewing the survey will assist transportation advancements at UM to align with community needs. Results will continue to inform strategic planning related to infrastructure, education and peer-based programs in support of health and wellness, climate action, and sustainability goals.
This survey is approved by the UM Survey Review Committee and administered by the Green Action Centre. All responses are completely confidential and only aggregated results are reported back to the University. The survey is organized biennially by the Office of Sustainability. Previous surveys took place in 2023, 2020, 2018 and 2016 (inaugural).
