Biography

Minelle Silva is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management and Sustainability at the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba.

He earned his PhD from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and his habilitation to direct research from the Université Grenoble Alpes (France) in 2023. Minelle's research examines how sustainability can be internalised in organisations and inter-organisational relationships. 

Dr. Silva's research outputs have been published in journals such as International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Business Strategy and the Environment and Journal of Cleaner Production. He currently serves as guest editor in the International Journal of Operations and Production Management and acts as board member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA).
