The Booke of Common Prayer, and Administration of the Sacraments, And other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England
London, Robert Barker, 1605
St. John's College, BX 5145 A4 1605

This is a copy of the rare 1605 edition of the English prayer book, the foundational liturgy for worship in the English language. It was one of two editions printed during the reign of James I. The Book of Common Prayer had been substantially revised twice since Thomas Cranmer wrote it in 1549: by him in 1552 and by others in 1559. Bound with it is the Psalter "after the translation of the Great Bible."
