IEEE Student Technical Society

The Price Faculty of Engineering has a number of student technical societies. The society of primary interest to students in Electrical and Computer Engineering is the IEEE McNaughton Centre which is the student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The IEEE is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 377,000 individual members in 150 countries.

From time-to-time, Electrical and Computer Engineering students also become involved in technical societies in other departments when electrical and electronic expertise is required.
