Financial Aid & Awards

Financial Aid and Awards distribute bursary and scholarship applications in early September for the regular academic year. Bursary applications are due on the first working day of October.

Effective August 2011, Financial Aid & Awards will be moving to an On-line application process.

The majority of scholarships and awards at the University of Manitoba are automatically awarded each year based on academic achievement (no application required), however, there are a few exceptions.

North American Aboriginal Students : If you complete an Aboriginal Self Declaration Form and return it to the Registrar’s Office, room 400 University Centre you will automatically be considered for Aboriginal-specific awards and scholarships.
