Designing emergence implies a shift from object-oriented production to integrated systems oriented designing thinking. It is less about what things are and more about what things do. It is less about firmness or permanence and more about persistence, self-organization, boundary/limits, bifurcations, emanation, dissipation, and perhaps more particularly about mapping, modelling and creating adaptive performances of change. In this session we invite proposals that are exploratory and theoretical as well as case studies and applied design thinking.
