How do I...

Take Courses at St. Boniface University?

There are two procedures, depending on which course(s) you would like to register for.

Take a Français course?
  • You will need to take a placement test, which can be taken online. This can be done by scheduling an appointment with the Service de perfectionnement linguistique (SPL office) at 204 233 0211 or spl@ustboniface.ca. Let them know that you are a U of M student.
  • Once you have completed the test, you will receive a message that confirms which FRAN courses you may take.
  • Before registering for any FRAN courses, please contact an Academic Advisor in your faculty and specify which course(s) you would like to take, including the section and CRN.
Take a non-Français/other subject course?
  • Visit an Academic Advisor in your faculty and specify which courses you would like to take, including the section and CRN.
Tuition and School Fees
  • Students should check both their U of M fee assessment in Aurora and their St. Boniface fee assessment in the USB student portal and pay all outstanding fees by the fee deadline.
  • USB uses the same fee payment deadline as the U of M, this includes the Revision Period and the Voluntary Withdrawal (VW) deadline.
