Your Registration Time

You may use Aurora to verify your registration time - this information will be available in Aurora one week prior to the start of the registration period.  Students who accept their offer of admission after the start of the registration period will be assigned a Registration Time the following day.

Accessing your Registration Time and Status in Aurora

  1. From the 'Enrolment and Academic Records' tab in Aurora, click on ‘Registration & Exams’, then ‘Registration Time and Status.’ 
     
  2. Choose the term you want to verify your eligibility for from the drop down menu.

Your Registration Time

You may use Aurora to verify your registration time - this information will be available in Aurora on June 12 for students on the Bannatyne campus, and on Friday, July 7 for students on the Fort Garry campus.  Students who accept their offer of admission after the start of the registration period will be assigned a Registration Time the following day.

If you plan to register for both Fall and Winter courses, you should check your eligibility for both terms. To do this, you can return to the ‘Registration & Exams’ menu to select a new term.

Students who don’t have a Registration Time are encouraged to contact their faculty, school or program office (Undergraduate, Graduate) to verify when and how they’ll register for classes.

Fall & Winter Term Registration

When registering for the Fall and Winter terms, you’re encouraged to register for courses on the date and time that’s listed here. You’ll continue to have access to the registration system until the end of the respective Fall and Winter term registration periods.

Limited Access will be in effect for registration in Winter term courses.  If you wish to repeat a course you have completed or withdrawn from in Winter 2017 or later (or its equivalent), you will be subject to the new Repeated Course Policy and Limited Access (link http://umanitoba.ca/student/records/academicpolicychanges/

Summer Term Registration

For Summer registration, you’ll be assigned one day to register for courses during the first week of registration. After this first week has passed, the system will become open to all students. You may continue to register or change your courses until the registration revision period applicable to that course is over.
