New Student Orientation

U of M Orientation is one of the largest events on campus, involving over 6,000 students, staff, and volunteers. This event will introduce you to the U of M campus and prepare you for university life with academic sessions and workshops, and provides a fun opportunity to meet fellow students!

Residence Move-in & Orientation Weekend

A move-in weekend for all new and returning residence students with new resident orientation and residence parent orientation.

International Student Workshops

A full day orientation to help new international students with their transition to Canada and the U of M. Students who attend International Student Orientation are still encouraged to attend campus-wide orientation events.

Bannatyne Campus Orientation

An opportunity for students at the Bannatyne campus to enjoy some food, learn about campus services, and get some great prizes.

Graduate Student Orientation

This comprehensive orientation for new graduate students includes a welcome session, a campus tour, lunch on each day, a resource fair, and workshops that provide information to:

• ease your transition into graduate school
• introduce you to campus services and involvement opportunities and
• show you just how much the University of Manitoba has to offer

Indigenous Welcome & Celebration

The Indigenous Student Centre is hosting a day of activities and Indigenous learning as a way to welcome all new and returning staff and students to the University of Manitoba. More information will be shared soon.
