Career Fairs

Career Services hosts and co-hosts three major Career Fairs each year:

  1. University of Manitoba's Annual Career Fair, attracting all students, to be held on
    January 17 & 18, 2018.
  2. University of Manitoba's inaugural Health Sciences Industry Fair, connecting graduate researchers and undergraduate students in health sciences with organizations in the health sciences industry. There are only 38 booths for this inaugural event co-hosted by the Health Sciences Graduate Students' Association (HSGSA) and Career Services from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on February 13, 2018.
  3. ASE Career Fair - targeted to Agricultural and Food Sciences, Engineering and Sciences students, to be held on October 3, 2017. We anticipate over 90 employers will attend who are looking to recruit students for full-time, part-time or summer job opportunities.

Career Fair Success

A Career Fair (a.k.a. Job Fair or Career Expo) is an event where employers and organizations share information with potential candidates.

When preparing for a Career Fair it is important that students research the organizations attending. Students can then approach those they want to know more about at the event.
