"There are many scientists, social critics, feminsts and religious thinkers variously indicating a need for a new direction: 'inventing the future,' 'reenchangement of the world,' 'a new morality,' or a 'thealogy.' The artist Debbie Matthew, through the examination of the 'endangered species,' 'the interconnected nature of the planet through myths,' and 'the Goddess' exposes the myths which allow people to destroy and misuse the earth and her human representative, woman.'
