The exhibition of 60 drawings by a gifted and prolific New York painter and sculptor, Stanley Boxer, came to Gallery III by courtesy of the Rose Fried Gallery of New York. Boxer thinks of drawing, painting, and sculpting as three distinct and separate activities meant to have identities of their own, neither being an imitation of the others. His work has been shown in many group shows throughout the United States and in four one-man shows in New York.
