The CFI Research Facilities Navigator
The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) provides extensive support for research infrastructure. The CFI Navigator is a searchable online directory of funded research labs and facilities open to working with businesses to meet their research and innovation needs. Researchers can create a profile to be actively promoted to Canada’s private and public sector innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs.Find UM Labs on the CFI Navigator >
Infrastructure Database
The Office of Research Services’ My Research Tools (MRT) contains an inventory for CFI-funded infrastructure and allows researchers to search for equipment currently available at the UM. The database is intended to be a tool to maximize the use of CFI-funded infrastructure, encourage sharing of research infrastructure among researchers, and facilitate collaborations. The database is an ongoing work in progress, and includes infrastructure over $20,000 in value.
Access the equipment list by logging into JUMP. Select the Research tab and click on My Research Tools. You’ll automatically be redirected and logged into the MRT system.
