Request for document search
Documents submitted become the property of the University of Manitoba. Under certain circumstances, you can submit a request to search and return your undergraduate documents held at the Registrar's Office.
The fee for each document search is $17.60 (may request multiple documents); if the requested document is not found, the fee is not refunded. All areas of this form must be completed. Please allow approximately five working days for processing.
- Students requesting documents that originate from within North America must contact the institution that the document came from.
- ELC students should contact the English Language Centre directly to request a document search.
- The document search request only covers documents held at the Registrar's Office.
To submit a request to search for a document follow the steps below:
- Fill out the PDF form.
- Email the form to Registrar.Office@umanitoba.ca.
- Receive an email from the Registrar's Office if there was an issue with your payment.
Graduate students
Graduate students will need to contact their home department directly to request copies of their documents.
