System Co-Managers: Brian Lewthwaite & Len Rivard
Associated Research Focus: How do attributes of the classroom and school community combine to impede, contribute to, and sustain science and mathematics success?
Objectives: (1) determine the influence of improved instruction and other classroom practices (e.g., assessment, peer collaboration) on student characteristics that influence student success; (2) identify the characteristics of instructional strategies and/or curriculum content which contribute to student success; and (3) identify the risk and supportive factors which influence and sustain educators' instructional development.
