PGME Student Affairs and Wellness
PGME Student Affairs serves as a liaison to many campus services such as career and personal coaching, student accessibility services and student advocacy. We work on your behalf with all levels of medical program administrators, deans, faculty and the various departments in the Max Rady College of Medicine.
We are a confidential resource for you to explore strategies for academic, emotional and personal success.
For the coming academic year, the 2021-2022 PGME resident forum will once again take place virtually to accommodate physical distancing requirements. This event will consist of a panel discussion, small group workshops and recreational activities. The forum will be offered on three separate half days over the course of the year to provide flexibility for programs to ensure all residents are able to participate.
1. Provide an interprofessional opportunity for residents to come together from all PGME programs to discuss challenges and share strategies related to resident life.
2. Provide residents with the choice of meaningful sessions that relate to the overall theme of Resident wellbeing and based on resident feedback.
3. Provide a space to engage and address personal and systemic issues that impact Resident life.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are in need of an appointment with the Postgraduate Student Affairs and the wellness associate dean.
