Dr. Rasheda Rabbani's research interests are focused on statistical methods for research synthesis in clinical trials and observational studies data, specializing in meta-analysis, network meta-analysis, and trial sequential analysis. She has collaborated and co-authored on several prestigious publications and has extensive experience providing statistical consultation and collaboration to researchers in various specialties. Her research has been conducted in several international institutes and universities, including Bangladesh.
Dr. Rasheda Rabbani is an assistant professor in community health sciences at the Max Rady College of Medicine and a biostatistician with the Data Science Platform at the George & Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI). Prior to joining the University of Manitoba, Dr. Rabbani served as a senior scientist and assistant professor at numerous international institutes and universities in Bangladesh.
With 28 years of experience providing statistical consultation and collaboration to researchers in various specialties, Dr. Rabbani is an expert in both basic and advanced statistical methodologies. Her research interests focus on meta-analysis, network meta-analysis, and trial sequential analysis, specializing in synthesis projects of clinical trials and observational studies data.
She has collaborated and co-authored on several prestigious publications, and currently offers lectures and workshops on meta-analysis in collaboration with the Knowledge Synthesis Platform at CHI.
Dr. Rabbani earned her PhD in agricultural economics from Iwate University, Japan in 2002, and has received various awards, including the Monbusho Scholarship from the Japanese Government.
