Research summary

Dr. Yan’s current research focuses on analytic techniques for conducting population health research and health services research using complex health data.

Biography

Dr. Lin Yan is an assistant professor in community health sciences, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba.

She received her PhD degree in pharmaceutics from Sichuan University. In addition, she obtained a master’s degree in public health from the School of Public Health, University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Yan has over 15 years of experience working in health data research. Currently, she is a senior research analyst in the Data Science Platform at the George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation. Dr. Yan’s work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals.
