    Research summary

    Dr. Lin Yan's current research focuses on the development of analytic techniques for conducting population health research and health services research using complex health data. Her research interests include evaluation for healthcare programs and interventions, multivariate and longitudinal statistical methods, pharmacoepidemiology, and population health research and data curation. As a senior research analyst in the Data Science Platform at the George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation, Dr. Yan's work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals.

    Biography

    Dr. Lin Yan is an accomplished medical professional with over 15 years of experience in health data research. She is currently an assistant professor in community health sciences at the Max Rady College of Medicine. Dr. Yan holds a PhD in pharmaceutics from Sichuan University, a master's degree in public health from the University of Saskatchewan, and a master's degree in pharmacology from the University of Sichuan. Her current research interests include evaluation for healthcare programs and interventions, multivariate and longitudinal statistical methods, pharmacoepidemiology, and population health research and data curation. As a senior research analyst in the Data Science Platform at the George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation, Dr. Yan's work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals.
