Dr. Funk’s work spans several domains including monitoring of the high risk patient for anesthesia, mechanical ventilation in critical care, and researching the critical care of non-human primates infected with Ebola Virus. Most recently he has received his MSc in Clinical Trials and Epidemiology and has been active in research involving SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19.
