Research summary
My research interests are in perioperative comparative effectiveness and outcomes research, health services research, and health informatics, focusing on postoperative complications, enhanced recovery, and patient-reported outcomes following major noncardiac surgery in adults. My current research focuses on developing and evaluating methods to enhance patients’ quality of recovery and reduce the risk of adverse postoperative outcomes following major noncardiac surgery, particularly as they relate to variations in perioperative processes of care.
