Meet our Faculty
Meet Adele Perry.
Growing up in British Columbia gave Adele Perry, history, a strong sense of place and a keen interest in Western Canadian history, particularly the role of European colonialism and its impact on Canada’s Aboriginal peoples. As Canada Research Chair in Western Canadian Social History, Perry is bringing new insight to Canadian immigration policies and Aboriginal administration during the 18th and 19th centuries, providing a deeper understanding of who we are and how our society developed.
