Education:

- BA (Psychology), University of Western Ontario, 1971

Professional Background:
I worked for a number of years in community development positions in the fields of developmental disability and mental health. I also have direct service experience with persons with developmental disability and in early childhood education.

Research Specialties:

Basic income and related topics in regard to economic security
- Theoretical issues in social work (including justice and environment) 
- Distance education and pedagogy in social work

Teaching and Supervision:
I am teaching these courses in the 2019-2020 academic year:
- SWRK 1310 – Introduction to Social Welfare Policy Analysis (face-to-face and on-line)
- SWRK 2110 – Emergence of the Canadian Social Welfare State (on-line)
- SWRK 6030 – Canadian Social Welfare Policy Analysis (face-to-face)
