Lindsay Friesen [BA/18] has been the Office Administrator at the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship since 2016. Lindsay manages and maintains the SCCE’s efficacies from marketing and graphic design, budget reports and maintenance, purchasing, and event planning.

Lindsay has always had an interest in entrepreneurship and prior to the SCCE Lindsay worked at The Eureka Project (now North Forge Technology Exchange). During this time Lindsay was immersed in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and was involved in client mentor meetings, lead new clients through the intake process and assisted startups with business development and funding allocation. Lindsay’s knowledge of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, as well as her skills in budgeting and finance due to a previous role at Investors Group has given her the skills to be a critical resource at the SCCE.

Lindsay graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts in 2018 and continues to further her education with additional training through Asper’s Executive Education courses in Digital Marketing Analytics & Strategy, and is developing her skills and knowledge in the area of creative graphic design and software use.

Lindsay also finds time to give back to the community and has been the Director of Marketing (2012 – 2019) for Skate Pink which is an annual 12-hour co-ed ringette tournament raising over $70, 000 for Breast Cancer research in partnership with CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. In addition to playing 5 years as a competitive ringette player and winning the Western Canadian Championships in 2017, Lindsay was an assistant coach for the U19 AA Eastman Flames from 2014-2017.

Lindsay is also a member of the Young Associates.
