Changmin Jiang’s research involves various issues and aspects in transportation economics and policy, such as competition and cooperation between the aviation sector and the rail sector, airline strategic alliance, network-regional airlines relationship, airport pricing, etc. His research focuses on the interaction between various parties in a transportation system and its policy implication for the regulator.

His work is published in top tier journals such as Transportation Research Part B: Methodological and Journal of Transport Economics and Policy.
