Annual Research Day
The Annual Surgery Research Day provides a platform to recognize the accomplishments and innovations in research in the Department of Surgery.

Held annually in January, it is an opportunity for faculty and residents to discuss the findings from their research; meet with their colleagues from other surgical specialties; and expose medical students to research.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program, Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba.

The Research Day Planning Committee have selected the abstracts for all presentations for this year's Research Day.
