About the program

The Section of Plastic Surgery delivers significant care in craniofacial surgery, upper extremity and lower extremity reconstruction, skin cancers, complex wound reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.

Faculty members

Run by 15 board certified plastic surgeons, the Section of Plastic Surgery provides all plastic surgical care to the province of Manitoba, northwestern Ontario and a significant portion of Nunavut.

Our world-renowned faculty are also members of many prestigious medical communities—including the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Canadian Society for Surgery of the Hand, Group for the Advancement of Microsurgery (Canada), American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.

We are proud to have four physician assistants within the program and many dedicated nursing staff in our clinics.
