Who Can Apply:
Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases affiliated academic members (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors) and support staff.
Purpose of Funding:
To support professional development for the academic members and support staff of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases to improve their abilities in research, education, and administration. Priority will be given to new faculty members (within first five years of faculty appointment).
What is Available:
The maximum amount any grantee can receive is $10,000 within a three-year period (can be used in combination with other awards).
How to Apply:
An application must be made in writing addressed to “Dr. Keith Fowke, Head, Department of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases” detailing the reason for the request, its anticipated benefits, and whether or not other funding sources have been obtained.
