As a satellite campus, Brandon provides core and elective rotations for medical students, Family Medicine residents, and residents in other specialty training programs.

The aim of the Brandon site is to provide Family Medicine residency training and core Family Medicine clerkship training in a rural model, preparing graduates for practice in any rural setting. The curriculum for this stream is designed to provide the majority of the two-year longitudinal training in Brandon.

Residents work with the Brandon medical community, comprised of more than 100 physicians, each with a wealth of knowledge and an interest in education. Clinical experiences can be tailored to individual needs or special interests.
