Join our residency program to explore the diverse field of family medicine in one of Canada's most multicultural cities, Winnipeg. With a population of over 700,000, where more than 100 languages are spoken, you'll gain valuable experience in a truly diverse community.

Our program offers a well-rounded training experience. You will have the opportunity to spend four weeks in rural Manitoba, providing family medicine care in a different setting. Additionally, you'll spend eight weeks in a hospital medicine unit, honing your skills and becoming a versatile family physician capable of excelling in any practice environment.

Our inter-professional team includes experienced faculty members such as dietitians, pharmacists, and nurse practitioners, ensuring comprehensive learning experiences in various practice environments. With five months of family medicine block time in your first year, you'll have the chance to establish continuity of care with a defined panel of patients.

To enhance your skills, we offer simulation labs where you can practice and refine your abilities on manikins that simulate a wide range of conditions. These simulations provide crucial feedback through readings and reactions, allowing you to continuously improve your clinical expertise.
