Malcolm Doupe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, Max Rady College of Medicine, and a Senior Research Scientist with the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy.
He received a doctorate in the Department of Community Health Sciences from the University of Manitoba in 2004.
Malcolm conducts research in the area of health services utilization and the aging population, investigating the determinants of nursing home use and transitions along the continuum of older adult care. Additional research areas include factors affecting emergency department use and patient flow.
Dr. Doupe is the Provincial Lead for the Translating Research in Elder Care (TREC) Program, and is Director of the Manitoba Training Program for Health Services Research.
