Landscape Architecture


Application Fee: $100 CDN (non-refundable)

All applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

An acceptable English Language Proficiency test score is required, if applicable. Please note that Landscape Architecture requires scores above the FGS minimum requirement, as follows:

IELTS A minimum score of 7.0 on the Academic Module
TOEFL (Computer Based) A minimum score of 237
TOEFL (iBT) A minimum score of 94, with a score of 20 in each of Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking
TOEFL (Paper Based) A minimum score of 580

For initial assessment purposes only, copies of unofficial transcripts (uploaded to your application) are acceptable and preferred. Transcripts are required from each institution for the entire academic history, whether or not degree has been awarded, including institutions attended on an exchange. If the English copy is a translation, please include the original language as well.

Degree Certificates – All international transcripts must be accompanied by degree certificates that indicate that the degree has been awarded.

Master of Landscape Architecture

The M.L.Arch. program consists of a combination of coursework and a practicum.

†Upon application, students with a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Manitoba in the Landscape + Urbanism option will be charged two years of fees at the full rate. Fees for students with similar undergraduate qualifications will be reviewed, upon application, on a case-by-case basis. Students with a non-design qualification will be charged three years of fees at the full rate.
