My research focuses on Arctic climate change and variability and understanding the driving mechanisms behind this. I am specifically interested in large scale teleconnections and how forcings from remote regions, namely the tropics have an important role in both circulation change and temperature in the Arctic through running and/or analysing output from global climate models. In my current role, I focus on both current and future precipitation changes in the Arctic, specifically Rain on Snow events, and in understanding what the key driver of these are.
