My focus is on primary production of the marine system surrounding Southampton Island, Nunavut. I’m looking to see what controls the trophic structure and productivity, with the proposed source of control being physical mixing processes. I’m also interested in how climate change impacts existing marine Arctic processes such as physical oceanography, sea ice dynamics and higher trophic levels.
