I have 3 credit hours of introductory-level sociology from another university. Will that satisfy the SOC 1200 prerequisite (even though SOC 1200 is 6 credit hours)?

In most cases, students who have successfully completed 3 hours of introductory sociology from a recognized university will be allowed to take upper-level Sociology and Criminology courses and can earn a degree (provided they make up the missing 3 credit hours with a 2000 or 3000 level SOC course).
