Other Interests / Recent Undertakings:
- Comfort Women and the Problem of Human Rights, Presentation at a SSHRC-sponsored workshop entitled "Museum Openings: Caring for Difficult Knowledge," to coincide with the opening of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights
- Recent publications include articles on race, speculative fiction, and futurity in MELUS, LIT, Extrapolation, American Studies, and Critique
- Co-wrote and published two articles on collaborative resistance and public humanities
- Currently writing a book-length project on disaster narratives and racial formation
- Coordinator, Queer Biopolitics Research Cluster (faculty-student research group sponsored by the University of Manitoba's Institute for the Humanities)
