University of Manitoba - Faculty of Arts - John J. Conklin Theatre
John J. Conklin Theatre

In 2016, the Faculty of Arts celebrates the opening of the John J. Conklin Theatre, which brings a new space for performing arts at the Universty, and a new home for the Black Hole Theatre Company.

The new theatre will benefit the Faculty of Arts, as well as the University as a whole, by promoting our theatre program, as well as our infrastructure for the potential to bring in new performances to the space.

The John J. Conklin Theatre was made possible by a generous gift made by E. D. Conklin to commemorate his grandfather.

To see the space, you can watch our video tour lead by Bill Kerr, the coordinator of the Theatre Program in the Department of English, Film, and Theatre.
