Orientation: What’s Next?
What’s Next? is the first in our series of orientation events for you, our new UM student!
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer in person programming for our UM Orientation 2020 Summer events, resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. We are exploring options to provide you with everything you need as you prepare to become a part of our diverse and exciting UM Community. We’ll be sure to connect with you via email to let you know how you can find out about registration, the transition to university studies, and all the UM has to offer you as a student. UM Essentials, the UM’s online orientation program will be available for you to explore, after you have accepted your offer of admission.

- Visit our Info Fair and see all the campus resources available to you
- Attend sessions on financial aid and student supports
- Attend a session to learn more about possible career options!

What's Next? is Saturday, June 13, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join us on Saturday, June 13 to find out What’s Next?. By attending this event, you’ll learn what comes after you accept your offer of admission. We have created sessions to help students learn registration strategies and requirements, information about financial aid options, career development, and supports and resources available for students. Students and their families will have the opportunity to begin to make connections with staff and begin to feel at home with us at the U of M. You’ve made the right choice to study here, now see What’s Next?
How do I sign up?
If you've accepted your offer of admission and will be a new UM student in the Fall Term you will receive an e-mail invitation in May to attend What’s Next?
Space is limited, so you will need to register to attend this event. Your e-mail invitation will tell you how to register.
Getting an invitation to What’s Next? does not indicate or guarantee admission to the University of Manitoba.
