Latest updates

  • Mar. 1, 2022:

With more in-person instruction occurring on campus, we continue to offer rooms to incoming students for the remainder of the Winter Term and will be accepting (May 1 - July 31) Summer Term applications very soon. Check our website and application portal regularly for updates on the Summer Term.

Applications for the 2022-23 academic year for both new and returning residents are also currently being accepted. For 2022-23, we anticipate all residence buildings and room types to be available and to be fully occupied. Room selections, offers and deposits for both new and returning students will take place in June 2022. Please be reminded that new student rooms are offered on a first come-first-serve basis, and returner applications are subject to a lottery, so not all applicants are guaranteed a space in residence. Apply as soon as possible in order to secure a space in residence next year.

Health, safety and self-isolation in residence

We remain focused on keeping residence as safe as possible. Current COVID-19 prevention and safety measures include but are not limited to:

  1. Vaccine requirement to live in residence
  2. Indoor mask requirement (KN95) in all common spaces
  3. Providing designated temporary self-isolation spaces and meal delivery for residents living in dorms (MSH) or double occupancy suites (AVM) exhibiting COVID symptoms, awaiting test results, or after receiving a positive test result. (Note: self-isolation services related to travel are no longer being offered).
  4. No guests are permitted in residence

Effective February 18, 2022, all common spaces in residence are fully open and all COVID related capacity restrictions in common spaces have been lifted.
