Key Features and Benefits
Schedule your mobile videoconference equipment (two units available) for room spaces that do not have contemporary video conferencing capability. The solution has been designed so that it fits on a cart that Audio-Visual staff will setup for you to use and tear down after your session. Key services include.

Video Conferencing on a cart

A laptop wireless keyboard/mouse are provided for you to use with two high definition cameras, 4 microphones and a PA speaker.  Cameras provide a field of view of 90 and 180 degrees respectively with microphones that can be table or stand mounted as well as lapel microphones if required.  is provided on a cart with a VGA cable for connecting to the user’s device.

Demonstration, Equipment Training, Information

The online booking form will guide you through the information required as well as provide an option to specify any additional requirements which audio-visual personnel will strive to support, including a demonstration if requested.

Administrative Units, Faculty, Researchers
Operational Hours - 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM

Must be used to support the business of the University of Manitoba.

5 days notice is required to ensure equipment availability.

Colleague is responsible for operating the equipment. The Audio Visual Technician will provide training a half an hour before the event starts.

Colleague is responsible for booking the appropriate room space which requires

- 2 hours set up time
- 2 hours tear down time
- Wired network ports and power outlets.
- The cart will need to be positioned within 10’ of the room AV connections.

Costs may apply depending on service and availability of staff
